Baltic Displays

With Founded for Baltic Centre for Contemporary Art on Gateshead Quayside

We collaborated with graphic design agency Founded to fabricate these display elements for Baltic Centre for Contemporary Art. The project features laser-cut and folded steel panels that form the screen surrounds. Each panel was cut and folded to ensure clean lines and structural integrity.

Opposite the screens is a 6x2 meter fabric lightbox. The graphics are printed on tensioned fabric, backlit by LED edge lighting integrated within a steel frame. The frame was custom fabricated to match the finish of the screen surrounds and to conceal the lighting components for a clean, consistent appearance.

At Raskl, we managed the fabrication process, including laser cutting, folding, welding, and powder coating of the steel components, as well as the assembly and installation on site. The result is a robust, visually cohesive display system designed for durability and impact.
