durhamlane approached us to design a boardroom table and matching credenza and media centre for their sales training and conference room in a beautiful property in Newcastle.

Lee Durham has an interest in mid to late-20th-century modernist furniture and used to be involved in the trade, and our designs reflected this in both style and use of materials. A few interesting tweaks were suggested including the long, gradual taper on the edge of the table, exposing the furniture-grade birch ply used for the table construction.

The result is a blend of form and function that complements the architectural character of the space and supports the practical needs of the team. The credenza and media centre provide ample storage and discreet cable management, ensuring a clean and uncluttered environment.
