Fabrick Table

This is an 8m long boardroom table to seat 22 people.

The challenge was to create a piece that really looked like one solid structure, but one that could be dismantled and reassembled after being carried up 4 flights of stairs. With the winning design, we incorporated 3 layers made of 3 different materials of very different sized components.

As the table is assembled the various component parts begin to overlap each other so that you can't tell where one assembly ends and another begins. The result is an integrated piece of engineering with poise, solidity and personality.
